We can fix your hair!

New policy for children...

It was so hard to decide if we should start a policy against having children.  We absolutely love kids and think it is so FUN to see yours!   More and more as summer has gone on, we have noticed it is just way to dangerous to let the little tikes come in.  We would HATE for them to burn themselves on a hot tool or to hurt themselves on something else we may have overlooked "kid proofing".  Know it is a policy put in place out of love :)

Awesome upDo tutorial!

We not only LOVE doing your daily blow out (yes, we think you should come in daily)...just kidding!  But, we LOVE doing upDo's!  Alta High just had their prom and it was so fun to play with so much beautiful hair!

First step for a fabulous upDo, is to just come in and let us do it for you....  This is AUBRIE who is a PRO (along with every other girl here) at doing upDo's.  I think relaxing with a diet Coke and watching your daughter get her hair done is the way to go for a day like Prom.  BUT...

Just kidding, you really can make this fabulous hair style at home...

First, it is easiest to do an upDo if your hair is DIRTY.  Yes, we (a blow out bar) is admitting this truth.  One day old dirty hair is the best!  Second, you will want to curl your hair and then back comb whatever volume you were looking for to the top of your head!  Third, make small braids on each side of your head and clip them back with the first of MANY bobby pins!

As simple as it sounds, you will then start to take smaller pieces of the curled hair, roll it and pin it with a bobby pin!

Kayla has a TON of hair, when you are done, it will look like this:

The last thing we did was add the head band.  It is fun to just move some hair around so you can cover the sides of the head band as well.
